When troubled teen Kit Gordy is sent to the remote and foreboding Blackwood Boarding School, she expects strict discipline, not the creeping dread that permeates its ancient halls. Under the enigmatic and unnervingly serene headmistress, Madame Duret, Kit discovers that the school’s unconventional teaching methods unlock terrifying visions and draw her into a sinister legacy. As the walls close in and reality blurs, Kit realizes that Blackwood is not a place of reform, but a prison for souls bound to a dark purpose. With time running out, she must uncover the school’s buried secrets before they consume her entirely.
