When Adam and his four friends venture into the abandoned grounds of Dorm Melati, they are not just camping under the stars—they are stepping into a grave. Years ago, a student named Melati died within these walls, and her restless spirit is said to haunt anyone who dares to trespass. What begins as a daredevil quest to catch a glimpse of the supernatural quickly descends into a nightmare as the group realizes they are not alone. As whispers fill the dark corridors and shadows move on their own, Adam’s true purpose becomes clear: he has brought them here to make contact with the dead, and some doors are better left unopened. With the chilling atmosphere and mounting dread, ‘Dorm Melati’ is a haunting tale of guilt, loss, and the price of curiosity.

“I'm a sucker for ghost stories, and this one really delivered. The eerie atmosphere of the dorm gave me chills, and the acting felt genuine, especially from Aedy Ashraf. It's not just jump scares; it builds tension slowly, which I appreciated. Definitely one of the better Malaysian horror flicks I've seen!”
“For me, 'Dorm Melati' had a promising setup, but it dragged in the middle. The scares were effective at times, but some cliches felt a bit tired. Still, the ending hit me in the feels and made up for some of the slower parts. Worth a watch if you like supernatural dramas.”
“I went in expecting a standard horror, but I was blown away by the emotion and suspense. The folklore aspect added a unique layer, and the cinematography really captured the haunted dormitory's creepiness. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, and the film stayed with me for days. Highly recommended for horror fans!”
“It felt like a mix of classic ghost story and modern psychological thriller. The pace was a little uneven, and some characters could have been fleshed out more, but the overall vibe was unsettling and engaging. The final act was intense and left me thinking. Solid horror for a quiet night in.”
