After escaping the clutches of a sinister backwoods cult, Katie is determined to rebuild her shattered life by taking a job at a care facility for adults with special needs. But when she forms a bond with a young woman with Down syndrome, she discovers that the terror she fled hasn’t left her—it’s merely biding its time. As the facility’s walls seem to close in and the lines between sanity and paranoia blur, Katie must confront the harrowing truth of her past before it claims an innocent victim. A haunting descent into psychological horror where compassion becomes a weapon and the ultimate sacrifice is demanded.
