In a bleak, rain-soaked town, Børre trudges through a life of quiet desperation, trapped in a dead-end job under a detested Swedish boss. His only solace is his wannabe-gangster friend Ludo and his idolization of the tough-guy actor Charles Bronson, a stark contrast to his shattered self-esteem. When a glimmer of hope arrives in the form of a girl, it seems his luck is finally changing. But as their connection deepens, an ominous shadow creeps into his world, and Børre is forced to confront the darkness that lurks just beneath the surface of his newfound happiness. What begins as a tale of redemption spirals into a chilling descent into paranoia and obsession.
