In the grimy underbelly of 1998’s indie horror scene, a fringe cult’s reckless DNA experiments give rise to an ungodly terror: a murderous infant with an insatiable appetite for blood. As the body count rises, a small town spirals into paranoia, torn between disbelief and the visceral dread that something unnatural now crawls among them. With its raw, low-fi aesthetics and unapologetic gore, Demagogue is a harrowing descent into primal fear, where the innocence of a child becomes the stuff of nightmares.
