In the desolate backwaters of 1901 South Africa, a wounded general stumbles upon a remote homestead, seeking shelter from the brutal war that surrounds him. But the kindness of the woman and her young daughter is a fragile veil over something far more sinister. As night falls and the walls seem to breathe, he realizes their survival depends on a dark, unspoken ritual—and he has become the next offering. Every creak of the floorboards, every whispered prayer, draws him closer to a truth that will suffocate his sanity. ‘Breathing In’ is a slow-burning nightmare where isolation breeds the most terrifying of horrors, and the air itself is thick with dread.
