In the rain-drenched shadows of New York City, Detective Ralph Sarchie’s world unravels as he stumbles upon a series of disturbingly violent crimes that defy rational explanation. Haunted by his own dark past and the growing malevolence that seeps through the city’s underbelly, he crosses paths with a renegade priest whose faith is as unorthodox as his methods. Together, they plunge into a terrifying realm where ancient evil wears the mask of human madness, and each exorcism becomes a harrowing battle for not just the possessed, but for Sarchie’s own soul. As the line between the natural and the supernatural blurs, a chilling truth emerges: some doors, once opened, cannot be closed.

User Reviews
NightOwl99 – 7/10
“I really appreciated the gritty realism mixed with supernatural dread. Derrickson knows how to build atmosphere, and the Exorcist-style scenes gave me the creeps. It drags a bit in the middle, but the ending packs a punch.”
DemonHunter_41 – 5/10
“I wanted to love this, but it felt too formulaic and the scares were more jump than substance. The chemistry between the cop and priest was decent, but the story didn't deliver anything new. It's a decent rental if you're bored, but not a must-watch.”
ScaryMovieMaven – 6/10
“There's something creepy about the real-life inspiration, but the movie plays it too safe. The atmosphere is dark and grimy, which works, but the characters are underdeveloped. I liked the priest's unconventional methods, but overall it's just average horror.”
HorrorHound1982 – 4/10
“I hated how the movie relied on loud noises and sudden movements for scares. The plot was all over the place, and I didn't care about the characters. The exorcism scenes were decent, but by that point I was already checked out. Not my cup of tea.”
