For years, sisters Amina and Nadja have been fleeing the relentless Smirnov, to whom Amina was promised by their parents. Their desperate search for sanctuary leads them to the cold, indifferent streets of Stockholm, where they believe they can finally disappear. But the city’s ancient shadows hold a deeper terror, and soon they realize Smirnov and his vampire clan have followed their every step. As the sisters seek refuge in a city that offers no safety, they must confront the horrifying truth that their past has become an inescapable, bloodthirsty pursuit. Each corner hides a predator, and every night brings them closer to a fate worse than death—unless they can uncover a way to break the ancient pact that binds them.
