In the fog-shrouded town of Maplewood, Oregon, young men are disappearing without a trace, leaving behind a community paralyzed by fear. The enigmatic and alluring Veronica Chandler, a recluse with a dark past, becomes the prime suspect, yet no one can prove her involvement. Enter Eddie Hooper, a determined outsider drawn to the mystery—and dangerously captivated by Veronica’s chilling charm. As Eddie delves deeper into the town’s secrets, he uncovers a web of obsession and dread, but his growing fascination with Veronica may be the very thing that seals his fate.
