In the bleak, recession-hit England of 1992, Mr. Cooper’s coffin factory is on its last legs, his two employees doubling as gravediggers at the cemetery across the road. Desperate times breed a desperate and sinister plan, one that soon stains the soil with more than just mortality. When two teenagers vanish during a daring trespass, the local priest uncovers a trail of dread that leads to the factory’s dark secret. As the truth surfaces, the line between the dead and the living blurs, and the town’s quiet horror begins to claw its way out.
