After years locked away in a mental institution, Ethel’s release into her aunt’s care seems like a fresh start—but the shadows of her past refuse to stay buried. As whispers of her disturbing history follow her every move, a skeptical head nurse and a weary detective watch from the sidelines, convinced that letting her out was a fatal error. Strange occurrences begin to plague the household, and Ethel’s fragile grip on reality starts to fray, revealing a darkness that terrifies even those who thought they knew her. In this chilling tale of psychological horror, the line between victim and predator blurs, and the quiet town soon realizes that some monsters aren’t born—they’re unleashed.
