A romantic getaway to the Transylvanian countryside turns into a nightmare when Alexandre is struck by a car and forced to undergo an emergency blood transfusion in a remote Romanian hospital. Back home, he begins to deteriorate, plagued by a creeping paranoia that the blood now in his veins is tainted with something ancient and insidious. As his body and mind unravel, his girlfriend Livia watches helplessly, his increasingly erratic behavior hinting at a horrifying transformation. Set against the folklore-soaked backdrop of Romania, Chimères is a chilling descent into vampiric obsession, where the line between delusion and reality blurs into blood-soaked terror.
