In the scorched, decaying outskirts of Kyoto, a feral orphan claws for survival, his humanity eroded by hunger and rage. When he stumbles into a crumbling village, the thin line between beast and boy blurs, and the whispers of a savage past threaten to consume him. As he grapples with the allure of civilization, a chilling truth emerges: the true horror lies not in the wasteland, but within the hearts of men. A haunting descent into primal instinct, ‘Ashura’ is a visceral, atmospheric portrayal of the monster we all harbor inside.

User Reviews
DarkVisions – 7/10
“Not your typical horror, but the bleak atmosphere and the boy's raw performance got under my skin. It's more of a slow-burn psychological descent than jump scares, but the ending stayed with me.”
GoreHound – 5/10
“I wanted more blood and terror, but this felt more like a survival drama. The animation is gritty and unique, but the pacing dragged in places. Still, the final act packs a punch.”
CreepyCrawler – 8/10
“A haunting tale of a child turned wild, beautifully animated with a disturbing edge. The film's true horror lies in the cruelty of humanity, and I found myself both saddened and unsettled.”
MidnightWatcher – 6/10
“I appreciated the artistic vision, but it didn't quite terrify me as I hoped. The premise is intriguing, and the scenery is beautifully desolate, but the story felt a bit predictable. Worth a watch for anime fans.”
