In the relentless downpour of a rain-soaked city, a tenacious reporter begins investigating the grim discovery of a child’s body, its internal organs mysteriously absent. What first appears to be a grisly case of organ trafficking soon morphs into something far more unsettling when the coroner reveals the organs were never stolen—they were never there at all. Following the chilling trail to a remote, foreboding forest, our protagonist uncovers a web of dark secrets that blur the line between science and the supernatural. As the rain never ceases, neither does the creeping dread that this case is only the beginning of a nightmare.
