In the suffocating gloom of New York City, Joey’s world shatters when his beloved Laura dies. Refusing to let go, he spirits her body away on a harrowing journey to the misty mountains of West Virginia, clutching at the fading warmth of her presence. As the days blur and decay sets in, Joey’s grip on sanity loosens, and the line between devotion and derangement dissolves. A chilling descent into obsession and grief, Dead Leaves is a haunting portrait of love pushed beyond the grave, where nature’s decay mirrors the unraveling of a broken mind.
