When her father dies in a suspicious car accident, Kristel Lodema uncovers his secret investigation into a long-abandoned mine, the site of a gruesome child killer’s death in 1857. Driven by grief and curiosity, she assembles a group of friends to explore the dark, claustrophobic tunnels. But as they descend, the air grows heavy with unease, and they soon realize they are not alone. The vengeful spirit of Andries Martiens, bound to the mine for over a century, awakens to claim new victims. Every creak and shadow hides a deadly threat, and the group must fight to escape before they become the next entries in the mine’s grim history.
