After returning from my aunt’s place, I went to my bedroom to listen to music. I was sorting through a box of old books when I felt a sudden chill. I spun around and saw one of my model airplanes lift from the shelf. It hovered for a moment before flying straight into the window, shattering the glass. I was so scared I bolted downstairs to find my mom.

For a few weeks, nothing else strange happened. Then, every evening from midnight until four, the disturbances began. I would hear the distinct sound of someone pacing in the hallway outside my door. The steps would quicken into a run, ending with a loud crash against the far wall.

One night, I was in my room recording a video for a friend. When I watched it back, I could hear faint, garbled speech underneath my own voice, repeating a single phrase: ‘You are not welcome here.’ A few days later, my friend and I left class early and went to my house for a snack. We were sitting in my room when we heard a low growl from the closet.
