I think my house is haunted. Every night, when I am the only one awake, I hear a faint scream coming from the kitchen or dining room. Soon after, I hear a thud and a low chanting voice calling the name of a demon. I even dream about him almost every night.

In the garage, there is something else. It seems to want me. My dad is very spiritual and knows about spirits. Whatever is in the garage is afraid of him, but it still seems drawn to me. My dad taught me a kind of exorcism to use, but it doesn’t fully work. When I try it in the garage, the spirit seems angry—it makes a faint, chilling laugh.

This all started a couple of days after I used a Ouija board. The board warned me that I could be in danger, and soon after, the strange activity began. Since then, my dad has been visiting more often, and the spirits have been backing down slightly.

Even though it’s frightening, I try to stay calm. I don’t know exactly what this spirit wants or how strong it is, but having my dad nearby helps. I just hope it doesn’t get stronger or hurt anyone.
