Ed’s life is a monument to mediocrity—a dead-end job, a shoebox apartment, and a social life that’s practically nonexistent. But when he wakes up one morning with a craving for brains and a distinct lack of pulse, he realizes being a loser might have been the least of his problems. As he stumbles through the chaos of his new undead existence, Ed discovers that the zombie apocalypse isn’t just about shambling and groaning—it’s a twisted second chance at finding purpose, connection, and maybe even love. But in a world where everyone’s out to get (or eat) him, can he rise from the grave and become the zombie he was always meant to be? Prepare for a darkly comedic, gut-wrenching ride through the afterlife of a true underdog.
