In the unsettling documentary-style thriller ‘Monstrum’, a rogue filmmaker’s project becomes a sinister catalyst, dragging five strangers into a nightmarish collision with their pasts. As each is forced to confront a monstrous myth they thought buried, hidden connections emerge and loyalties fracture. Joseph, a tormented model-maker, faces his deepest terrors when a loved one’s life hangs in the balance, while Maria, beautiful and duplicitous, finds cruel amusement in the chaos she unleashes. Blurring the line between reality and fiction, the group’s descent into paranoia reveals that the true horror may not be the mythical beast, but the darkness within themselves.
