When a group of eight diverse college students and their sharp-tongued chaperone venture into the wilderness for an ecology research trip, they expect nothing more than academic rigor and a few laughs. But as the sun dips below the treeline, an eerie stillness creeps in, and the forest begins to feel like a living, breathing entity with a malevolent agenda. Strange sounds echo from the shadows, and the line between reality and nightmare blurs, forcing them to confront a chilling truth: there’s nowhere to run, and the only way out is through a gauntlet of unspeakable terror. As paranoia takes hold and trust shatters, they must decide what they’re willing to sacrifice to survive, knowing that the real threat might not be what’s lurking outside, but the darkness within themselves. What Lies Beyond… The Beginning is a harrowing descent into madness where escape isn’t an option, and survival is just the beginning of the horror.
