When a reality TV crew begins dropping dead on a remote Kerala island, a burned-out paranormal investigator is summoned from Helsinki to uncover the truth. The island holds the remnants of an ancient Dravidian cult, and the locals whisper of a hunger that has slept for centuries. As the investigator delves deeper, he realizes the deaths are not random but a ritual reawakening, and the entity they’ve disturbed is far from dormant. Vadakkan is a slow-burn descent into folklore horror, where every shadow hides a scream and every step could be the last.
