Fifteen years after fleeing their ancestral home in Corsica, Marie and Daniel return to the remote, mist-shrouded village to reunite with their aging grandfather. When they find an old family camcorder, they decide to document their visit, hoping to preserve precious memories. But as they review the footage, they begin to notice unsettling glitches and whispers that suggest the house is not as empty as it seems. Every frame reveals a little more of the dark secrets buried in the family’s past, and soon they realize that the camera is not just recording—it’s exposing something malevolent that has been waiting for them all along. Heritage is a creeping descent into familial dread, where nostalgia twists into nightmare and the past refuses to stay buried.
