When a fragile young woman inherits a decrepit mansion, she discovers a hauntingly beautiful portrait that seems to watch her every move. As she becomes increasingly obsessed with the painting, she begins to feel the icy grip of a jealous spirit reaching out from the canvas, yearning to reclaim the life that was stolen from her. The boundaries between reality and obsession blur in this chilling tale of possession, where art becomes a prison for a tormented soul. With every passing night, the portrait grows more vivid, and the woman’s own reflection fades, hinting at a terrifying fate she may not escape. This rare gem from 1973 delivers a slow-burning, atmospheric dread that will linger long after the final frame.
