As they explore the game’s Netherworld, a digital dimension of fire and brimstone, they unwittingly tear a rift between virtual and real, and the terrors of the game begin to bleed into their everyday existence. Soon, they are physically and mentally dragged into the pixelated abyss, forced to navigate a nightmarish landscape where every shadow could be a monster and every step could be their last. Trapped in a world that defies logic, they must fight to survive and find a way back before their minds and bodies are lost forever to the Nether Experiment.
