In 2010, a team of four documentary filmmakers ventures into the remote wilderness of Thunder Bay, Ontario, drawn by the dark legend of Nanabijou and a string of unsolved disappearances. Their quest leads them deep into Sleeping Giant Provincial Park, where the ancient forest hides a malevolent presence that begins to stalk them. As the line between myth and reality blurs, their cameras capture unsettling phenomena, but it’s not until two months later that their camcorder is discovered—revealing the chilling fate that befell them. What they recorded is a harrowing descent into terror, a found-footage nightmare that will leave you questioning the shadows in the woods.
