When IRS agent Dale Dugay is offered a shot at promotion, he reluctantly ventures into the backwoods to audit a reclusive family. What begins as a routine assignment quickly unravels into a nightmare of psychological torment and visceral horror, as Dale discovers the locals’ sinister customs and the true meaning of hospitality. As the line between civilization and savagery blurs, he must fight to survive an ordeal that will test his sanity and his will to live. The Lowborn is a gritty, unflinching descent into rural terror that fans of backwoods horror won’t soon forget.
