A weekend getaway turns into a waking nightmare when two lifelong friends, Grant and Paul, decide to ditch the highway for a desolate country road. As the sun dips below the horizon, their carefree drive spirals into a harrowing fight for survival. With their car sputtering and the rural landscape closing in, they encounter the unnervingly friendly residents of a remote township—locals who have a chillingly intimate relationship with the land and a sinister welcome for outsiders. Every shadow seems to whisper their names, and the line between hospitality and horror blurs with each passing mile. Trapped in a maze of dirt tracks and decaying farmhouses, the pair must confront a community hell-bent on making them permanent fixtures. A night of fun becomes a desperate bid to escape before the countryside claims them forever.
