Summer of ’84. Seven archetypal teens trade campfire songs for a blood-soaked rite of passage at a secluded lakeside retreat. But as night falls, the fun turns feral—a masked figure prowls the shadows, picking off the unsuspecting campers one by one. This is a grimy, loving homage to the grindhouse slashers of the late ’70s and ’80s, drenched in synth and gore. It’s a cheesy, cheap thrill that knows exactly what it is—and dares you to laugh and scream in the same breath.
