A family’s dream escape to a sun-drenched Philippine villa curdles into a waking nightmare in this slow-burn horror. Romano, Clara, and their children settle into their idyllic new home, but the air soon thickens with eerie whispers and unsettling visions that shatter their peace. As Romano is haunted by dreams that feel disturbingly real—fragments of a past he can’t place—he begins to uncover the villa’s buried secrets, each revelation pulling him deeper into a chilling mystery that refuses to stay forgotten. The Lease is a tense, atmospheric descent into the darkness that hides beneath paradise, where the walls hold their breath and the shadows remember everything. Can a family survive when their new home starts to claim them as its own?
