Deep in the Peruvian jungle, four American friends set out to expose the ravages of illegal mining, but their cameras capture something far more sinister. As they ignore the locals’ terrified warnings about Supay, an ancient forest spirit, the line between documentary and nightmare blurs. Strange sounds echo through the trees, and the jungle itself seems to turn against them. Determined to prove it’s all superstition, they push deeper into the heart of darkness. But when one by one they start to vanish, they realize they’ve awakened something that will not rest until it claims them all. Welcome to a place where the land exacts its revenge, and the only thing worse than what you find is what finds you.
