User Reviews
ScareSeeker – 7/10
“For a film that starts like a dark comedy, it really caught me off guard with the hard turn into horror. The atmosphere in the cottage is properly creepy, and the buildup had me on edge. The violence is gnarly, but the ending felt a bit rushed for me.”
GoreHound2000 – 5/10
“I appreciate the attempt to mix humor and horror, but it didn't fully land for me. The characters were mostly annoying, and the scare factor was inconsistent. There are some decent tense moments, but I wanted more dread and less shouting.”
BritishHorrorFan – 8/10
“This is a hidden gem for fans of British horror-comedy. The dialogue is sharp and the rural setting is used brilliantly to create a sense of isolation. I loved the shift from a crime thriller to something far more sinister—it made the movie memorable.”
MidnightMovieMaven – 6/10
“I was entertained overall, but it's a bit uneven. The performances are solid, especially from Andy Serkis, and the creepy atmosphere is well done. However, the plot takes a while to get going and the horror elements feel familiar. Worth a watch, but not a classic.”
