A newly hired housekeeper arrives at a remote countryside estate, drawn by the promise of quiet work. But the stillness is shattered by the presence of an eleven-year-old girl, whose innocent demeanor masks a malevolent secret. As the housekeeper delves deeper into the child’s world, she uncovers a creeping dread that permeates every shadow and whisper. What begins as a simple job spirals into a terrifying battle against an evil that has taken root in the most unlikely of hosts. The Child is a slow-burning nightmare of psychological horror, where the true monster hides in plain sight.
