Murphy is your typical high school nobody, painfully awkward and hopelessly smitten with the popular blonde, Conny Sutton. When she cruelly dismisses him, he makes a desperate attempt to lose his virginity and stumbles into the lair of a vampire. The bite that turns him into a creature of the night also grants him a dark charisma and superhuman strength, making him suddenly irresistible to the girls who once ignored him. But as his hunger grows and his humanity fades, Murphy realizes that the ultimate price of popularity might be his very soul. A campy, blood-splattered cautionary tale about the lengths we go to for love—and the horror that lurks in the shadows of desire.
