When a group of unsuspecting teens dredges up the ancient artifact during a weekend camping trip, they inadvertently resurrect the severed head of Robert Gross—a monstrous killer known as Swamphead. What begins as a harmless getaway quickly descends into a blood-soaked nightmare, as the living corpse hunts them through the woods with relentless fury. With time running out and fear gripping their hearts, the terrified campers must find a way to destroy the foul head before it claims them all. But as the body count rises and the swamp turns crimson, they realize that some evils are better left buried.
