In the mist-shrouded Romanian village of Vadul, justice wears a grim mask as the villagers drag Constantin Tirescu to a violent end, believing they’ve purged an ancient evil. But young Vlad Cozma, haunted by guilt and doubt, returns from university to uncover the truth—only to find that death refuses to stay buried. As unsettling rumors spread and strange cravings surface in the local pantry, Vlad must confront a terrifying reality: the line between victim and monster has blurred, and the thirst for revenge may be the least of his worries. With every creaking floorboard and whisper of the wind, ‘Strigoi’ weaves a chilling tale of folklore, moral ambiguity, and the insidious hunger that lurks beneath the surface of a quiet community.
