Fresh from his bloody escape from the asylum, the chillingly charming Jerry Blake resurfaces under a new identity. He presents himself as a marriage counselor, calmly weaving his way into the fragile life of a lonely woman and her son, who are unaware of the monster hiding beneath his polished facade. As his perfect mask begins to crack, the suburban dream turns into a nightmare of psychological terror and brutal violence. With every smile and gesture hinting at the homicidal mania within, Jerry will stop at nothing to create the family he believes he deserves, leaving a trail of victims in his desperate wake.
