In the shadow of a family tragedy, teenager Maddie Simon is haunted by a terrifying conviction: her mother was not a killer, but a vessel for something far darker. Obsessed with proving her mother’s innocence, Maddie unearths the chilling ‘found footage’ of the infamous Kate Winters possession and becomes fixated on replicating the unholy ritual. As she plunges into a nightmarish world of whispered incantations and fractured realities, Maddie documents her own slow, horrifying metamorphosis—each frame pulling her deeper into a malevolent force that hungers for control. But as the line between observer and victim blurs, Maddie must confront a terrifying truth: some doors, once opened, can never be closed again.
