In the aftermath of World War I, a grieving post-mortem photographer arrives in a remote Hungarian village, hoping to document the dead and find peace. But the village harbors a dark secret: a malevolent presence that preys on the living through the spirits of the fallen. When he meets a mysterious orphan girl who can see the ghosts, they form an uneasy alliance to confront the haunting. As the supernatural occurrences intensify, they uncover a chilling truth that ties the village’s tragedy to their own pasts. Post Mortem is a haunting tale of grief, redemption, and the unquiet dead, blending atmospheric dread with unsettling imagery that will linger long after the credits roll.
