In the shadowed realms of 1925 Hawai’i, a chilling tribute to classic Japanese ghost lore unfolds. When a gentle woman, bound by tradition, befriends a mysterious black cat, her world shatters in brutal violence at the hands of her husband. As her life fades, the feline imbibes her spilled blood, awakening a malevolent spirit that adopts her likeness. Now, a spectral revenant stalks the killer and his mistress, weaving a web of psychological torment and supernatural dread. This is ‘Obake Neko,’ a harrowing tale of murder, betrayal, and the unyielding vengeance of the dead.
