As a lethal flu strain sweeps through their sleepy Danish suburb, the quiet town of Sorgenfri descends into a nightmare of quarantine and terror. A family of four, trapped in their own home, watches helplessly as the world outside unravels into chaos and paranoia. With supplies dwindling and the infection creeping ever closer, their sanctuary becomes a suffocating prison. Every creak of the floorboards, every distant scream, whispers of a brutal choice: stay and wither, or flee through a deadly gauntlet. Sorgenfri is a suffocating, nerve-shredding thriller about how far ordinary people will go to protect the ones they love when society’s thin veneer cracks.
