Every New Year’s Eve, this tight-knit group of friends renews its bond with a tradition of anonymous resolutions — promises that have always brought growth and excitement. But this year, the ritual turns sinister when a chilling note reading “Kill Someone” is drawn from the bowl. The paper falls into the hands of Jacob, a police officer already on edge, who becomes convinced the threat is aimed at him. As the clock ticks toward midnight, paranoia spirals into terror, and the celebration morphs into a nightmarish game of suspicion. With friendships fraying and danger lurking in every shadow, the friends must confront the possibility that one of them is not who they seem. New Year’s Absolution is a gripping thriller about how easily trust can turn to fear when a simple tradition becomes a deadly omen.
