In the sun-scorched landscapes of Egypt, Greece, and Italy, a female horror director and her screenwriter find their latest project spiraling into a waking nightmare. As they grapple with the raw, unsettling material that inspired their film, their creative partnership fractures under the weight of escalating desires and unspoken fears. The director, increasingly consumed by eerie encounters and cryptic conversations, teeters on the edge of reality and obsession. What begins as a quest for cinematic truth unravels into a haunting exploration of the darkness that lurks both on screen and in the human soul. Moderation is a slow-burn psychological thriller that blurs the line between creator and creation, leaving audiences questioning where the horror truly resides.
