In the ancient lands of Tamil Nadu, 600 years ago, a powerful king falls for a mysterious huntress, Mathangi, whose beauty hides a deeper, darker purpose. Their love defies the boundaries of station and time, yet as the king’s empire crumbles, he flees to her forest sanctuary, only to find that the woman who promised him safety is bound to a terrifying bargain with the goddess Bhadrakali. What begins as a tale of devotion spirals into a chilling descent into madness and sacrifice, where every whisper in the woods carries a sinister promise, and the line between salvation and damnation blurs in the shadows.
