In the 1970s, acting coach Matteusz Gdula developed a revolutionary method promising to make his students ‘shine’—but when a string of mysterious deaths plagues his academy, he takes his own life, and his techniques are banned. Decades later, Stella, a determined but talentless drama student, is accepted into the renowned Gdula school. Soon, she becomes entangled in a web of eerie rituals, secret societies, and haunting whispers that echo through the halls. As she uncovers the dark truth behind the method, Stella realizes that some students are willing to pay the ultimate price for artistic perfection. Masks is a chilling descent into obsession, where the line between genius and madness blurs, and the masks worn on stage hide far more sinister faces.
