In the shadow-drenched Basque countryside, young Emma is haunted by whispers from an ancient hermitage, where the restless spirit of a girl named Uxoa has been trapped for centuries. Desperate to free her ethereal friend, Emma seeks out Carol, a cynical medium who has turned her back on the supernatural. As they delve into the forgotten rituals and dark history of the chapel, the line between the living and the dead blurs, and Emma must confront a malevolent force that feeds on her innocence. Pereda crafts a chilling tale of faith, loss, and the unbreakable bonds that transcend the grave, where every prayer might summon something far more sinister.
