At a prestigious private school where wealth and pedigree are everything, scholarship student Jennifer Baylor is an outsider marked by her humble Appalachian roots. Cruelly ostracized and tormented by the elite clique, she harbors a dark, psychic gift—an uncanny dominion over serpents. As the bullying escalates, Jennifer’s fragile composure begins to crack, and the campus’s pristine halls become a stage for a chilling, reptilian reckoning. With every hiss and slither, the line between victim and predator blurs in this unsettling 1978 cult thriller.
