When young David Gardner witnesses a strange meteor crash near his home, his world unravels into a waking nightmare. As his parents and the townsfolk begin acting eerily cold and robotic, he realizes a sinister alien force is infiltrating their minds, turning friends and family into hollow puppets. With no one to trust, David must expose the terrifying conspiracy before the invaders claim every soul in town, blurring the line between childhood paranoia and the most visceral dread. Tobe Hooper’s chilling remake plunges you into a vortex of body horror and psychological terror, where the scariest monsters wear the faces of those you love.
