In the oppressive fog of Quito, rebellious 17-year-old Jessica grapples with a fractured family life as her absentee mother cuts off financial support. Craving answers about the father she never knew, she escapes to the remote country estate of her uncle and aunt, only to discover a house draped in unsettling silence, every mirror veiled, and a creeping dread that clings to the walls. As she grows closer to the truth, Jessica realizes that some secrets are better left buried—and that the family she seeks may be guarding a darkness far more sinister than her own loneliness.
