An introverted American student of Balkan descent embarks on a school trip to the heart of Yugoslavia, drawn by the promise of witnessing an ancient, forbidden ritual. But as the train hurtles through the mist-shrouded countryside, the line between folklore and reality begins to blur. The locals’ hospitality feels like a mask, and their age-old ceremony pulses with a sinister undercurrent. What begins as a cultural excursion descends into a nightmare of pagan secrets and unspoken horrors, where every incantation may summon something far more malevolent than tradition. The student soon realizes that the ritual isn’t just a spectacle—it’s a deadly invitation, and there’s no getting off this ride.
